Who's got 2 thumbs and is weird?

This guy! (*thumbs pointing at himself*)
Last night, as I was watching Must Love Dogs (a good date movie, not because of the morality necessarily, but because of the verbal exchanges between Diane Lane and John Cusak - someone told me I look like him, actually a few people, and I'm not sure if it's a compliment...) Anyway, I was recalling an earlier incident that occurred in the bathroom. The boys were about to hit the sack, Kaed had just gotten out of the shower and he was brushing his teeth. I went in to check on him and I saw him putting on my deoderant. Now, on the one hand, it was cute that he was trying to be "grown up"/imitating me or his dad. But my initial reaction was that of disgust and horror. You see, I can't stand the thought of someone, anyone, using my pit-stick. Not even Kaed. It completely grosses me out. I probably over-reacted (fortunately Leah and Kaed cracked up about it). But as I sat there watching the movie, and carving chunks cheese out of a Tillamook Cheddar Baby Loaf with my steak knife (don't judge me) I realized that there are some things about me that are a little off-normal. What are some of them, you ask?

I have a huge issue with feet. I'd cut them off if I didn't need them to punt. Don't touch my feet. Don't touch me with your feet. Not even if you have socks on. Especially if you have socks on! Don't ever wear socks in my bed either. Ugh. I'm getting nauseated thinking about it. I don't like being barefooted, especially on smooth surfaces (cold smooth concrete is the worst!). I stepped on a nail once, and a bee once, and it KILLED me. You know what the worst thing is though? If, while barefooted, I step on a toenail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I just got a huge shiver down my spine) I am now going to vomit.
I don't like touching Leah's underwear either. That weird?

*Poor Dash. He's already showing signs of being my son. Loves cheese. Loves juice. He and I could live off those two things alone. By the way, he's officially become "the little brother". He's tagging along with Kaed and his friends at every opportunity. It's really funny too. Kaed and his friend(s) will go running by and without exception, Dash is jogging along a few steps behind. Kaed is very patient with him and I think it's totally sweet.

*Kaed started basketball last weekend. His games are still hilarious.

*Murdok and Ace turned 8 on Sunday. You forgot again.
*We're a week or so from getting our occupancy for the new pad! I can't wait to have you over.

I know I haven't posted in quite awhile and much has happened. Major snow, Christmas, house stuff, major rain and the occassional school closure. I've been drumming more lately too. There's some really good worship music out there. Anyway, I could spend a lot of time writing about all those things but let's just assume we all survived it unscathed and in a happy mood. I'll overload with pictures and vids. Enjoy:

3 feet of snow, and a view of our house from my Grandma and Grandpa's.

Eric loves this video.

This is how Dash tells you he's gotta go! (potty trained at 1.5 yrs - not that I'm braggin')

Festive toothbrushes.

thanks for updating... and I think (because of your foot issues...) you have a sensory processing disorder... google it.
And you are right, there is a lot of good worship music out right now. I'm curious to know what they are playing in Longview churches......
And your kids are cute.
And last and certainly not least, I am coming to Ltown on the 23rd...... Rich and Edna would love to have you guys up for dinner. Let me know.

We'd love to come over for free food. And see your kids. And you too. And drive Rich's old car again!

Oh, and I looked up the sensory disorder and I don't have it. Just don't touch my feet. Or touch me with yours.
Ever.

you have it... the first sign is denial.

Really? So by the same rationalization, if I said you were an alcoholic, that'd mean you are right?
