How come everytime I throw out a movie quote from Wayne's World, or Billy Madison, or What About Bob, or Goonies in any of my classes NO ONE responds or gets it? Testing....testing Is this thing on?

Its a sad state of affairs when kids don't know quotes from Goonies! I mean HELLO! It was filled in Astoria! Shouldn't they show it in Washington State history class or something?? LOL! :) Rana
My life has been turned upside down!! But I do think its still playing at the pub so get a hold of me and we can go.. That would make it 5 times! hahahaha and I am not sure about the 3 things! LOL!
haha.. above comments made me laugh. I deal with the same things with my friends who are just in their 20's....... I talk about things all the time that they have never heard of. We are old Andy ;)
It's the parent's fault. I'm 23 and my parents had me watch the goonies when I was little, and as soon as my daughter is old enough she will watch it too. Wayne's World is an awesome movie as well but kids these days are all about blood suckers and wolf boys... its sad..

2. Astoria is in Oregon, so they should show it in Oregon State history class.

Josh and I were just talking about this same problem... our youth group kids don't get our quotes from tv shows, either...
