We also did a bit o' Jack-o-lantern carving as well. Kaed gave me a picture of how he wanted his to look and I carved it for him. He did get to scoop out the guts of the pumkins though - and he loved it. Dash was sick when we did this so his punkin reflected it. It's too bad we get like 3 trick-or-treaters because our carvings are nice.
Yet another sign that Dash is Andy's kid... He picks his fingernails. Constantly. In my life, I can honestly say I've NEVER done 2 things that you may find odd - especially at age 32: I've never ironed a shirt/pant, and I've never once used fingernail clippers (for my fingers anyway). I've always picked my fingernails off as long as I can remember. Not chew though - that'd be gross. Gramma Gloria and Mom can vouch. I still do it. Some of you may find this to be a little gross or annoying, but for me it's quite convenient. Don't worry, I throw them away. There are few things worse than stepping on a finger/toe nail! Awck! (I just gagged) At least I'm responsible about it. And now Dash does it. I don't necessarily like the fact he is doing this, but I can't exactly be bummed about it either.
Quick, what's the best Halloween candy? Answer: anything that is regular or Super size! "Fun" size is neither fun nor is it NOT a complete rip-off. Discuss.... (if you just docked me points because I used a double-negative then you're a nerd Dad and you need to let it go) And it's too bad we live in a day where home-made carmel'd apples and popcorn balls have to get tossed. I always like those.
Now, what is the WORST Halloween candy? For me it's a cold BigHunk bar. The worst. Not because of it's taste, but because it's nearly impossible to eat when it's cold! It's to the point now where if I see a BigHunk (anywhere) I get enraged. You'd think I'd love them since they named it after me . . . At least a Bit-o-Honey are bite size so you can suck on them for a minute.
I confess, I have an unhealthy addiction . . . to McDonald's french fries. I need help. Seriously. It hasn't affected my weight (yet) but I fear what my BP might be. I'm lovin' it - a little too much.
Speaking of nerds, this is my costume this year. Can you guess what I am? . . . That's right, I'm a Binomial Product! Or a Factored Trinomial - whatever you prefer. I just walk around saying, "Hi, I'm Bi." Got some funny looks... Thanks again for the shirt, whichever brother got it for me! (click on the picture to see it's details)
See you guys later. I'm off to hunt for a #2 (that's code for a QP with C meal at the golden arches).
The Force is strong with this one.
Coolest straw ever. The boys were dying with laughter! Me too...

LOVE this post! My girls were loving the videos and especially the straw! Love hearing the boys laughing so hard. SO CUTE!
Andy, I'm going to claim that I was the brother who bought you your FOIL shirt. I remember snagging it an urban outfitters a while ago. I am the man.
Nick
GREAT POST, thanks for the heads up! Love the hurling pumpkin, yes, you are a NERD with that shirt...but i still luv u anyway...Dash & his giggle *sigh*, where do i find that straw?!??
-Kaed and Dash were giggling a lot more than just what the vid showed. I think Peter Griffin said it best, "The greatest gift in the world is children's laughter. Hehehehehe."
-Nick, I'll claim you as the man, and my favorite middle brother.
-Jen, I got those "juice goggles" at a Halloween carnival after accumulating many skee-ball tickets.
